Rujak - Fruit and vegetable salad with sweet sauce

I love this salad. The one on the picture is made of green mango. But you can use many kinds of other fruit or vegetable and mix all together. The most important is the sauce anyways :) Very common mix in Indonesia is pineapple, watermelon, papaya, daikon, cucumber ..... so no worries and lets experiment ;)
Process
Put tamarind pulp into 8 table spoons of warm water and set aside. Do the same in case you use paste.
Crush chilies and salt in a mortar or in a blender, later with sugar as well. Add peanuts and crush coarsely or finely, depending on your preferences. Add tamarind, which you squeezed into the water and mixed with it.
Mix well and pour on prepared vegetable or fruits.

- small handful unsalted roasted peanuts (optional)
- 3-4 tbs palm sugar or brown sugar
- 3 red chilies
- 1 tamarind husk or 1 full tsp of paste
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 8 tbs water
